THREADS

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
Running an online backup may cause very high system cpu usage on
the system.

This is caused by the number of db2bm threads created compared
to the number of db2med threads actually writing out the data
to the backup location.

This APAR addresses a change to the autonomic tuning algorithm
to prevent the creation of an excessive number of db2bm threads.
