When a statement is explained using section information via
EXPLAIN_FROM_ACTIVITY, EXPLAIN_FROM_CATALOG, EXPLAIN_FROM_DATA,
or EXPLAIN_FROM_SECTION procedures in a Database Partitioning
Feature (DPF) environment, the explain output shows incorrect
estimated cardinality values. The estimated cardinalities are
presented as per-table values instead of per-database-partition
values. |

To determine correct estimated cardinality values:
- obtain explain output via the DB2 explain facility (EXPLAIN
statement or CURRENT EXPLAIN MODE special register)
- continue to obtain explain output from section information and
manually adjust the per-table cardinality values to
per-database-partition values |
