IBM Price Adjustment 2023

As pleasing as the continuous updates for Informix are, the less pleasing are those updates that follow an annual cycle. And, this year it seems to be a major upgrade: IBM announces a price adjustment of +8% on software and renewals in Germany as of January 1. Informix customers will also have to be prepared for this price increase.

Admin-Scout 3.3 - just before release

Perhaps it is worth considering offsetting the higher costs for software and maintenance by reducing them in the area of administration. Simplify your Informix administration by using our Admin Scout for Informix.

The new version 3.3 is about to be released and comes up with a highly interesting extension for Enterprise Replication.

The Enterprise Replication module supports administrators in many replication issues. It offers statistics and live monitoring of transactions, adjustment of the most important ER parameters and simplification of ER administration with the operations start / stop / suspend / resume / check / check+repair / sync. In addition, there are features for the creation of templates and replicates, as well as for error tracking. We will inform you in detail about the new Admin-Scout release and this powerful module in a separate newsletter in November.
