When non-admin userID tries to launch the Configuration Assisstant only java splash window appears. Admin user ID does not have this problem. All other GUI tools run just file under the non-admin userID. THIS APAR JR29636 is a sysroute APAR of JR27453. | |

Change the location of the 'File Datasource location' once by logging in as admin user as follows Login as admin user (user who has installed DB2) Open db2ca Go to View-> Advanced View In the file datasource location mention the path where non admin has write permission instead of the admin users Desktop Log off and log in as the non admin user; Open and work with db2ca. | |
