DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC74658 Status: Closed

CHANGE THE MISLEADING "NUMBER OF FAILED/SUCCEED PACKAGES" MESSAGE
WHEN REBIND.

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
If an error occurs during db2rbind all previously bound packages
are rolled back however db2rbind then continues processing other
packages to be bound.

The final tally shows 1 (or more) can be confusing and would be
better to keep track of how many failed.

Here is an example of the current output.

Package 'NULLID.SYSSN401' of database 'MALL' succeeded to
rebind. UniqueID = 5359534C564C3031

Package 'NULLID.SYSSN402' of database 'MALL' succeeded to
rebind. UniqueID = 5359534C564C3031

Package 'NULLID.SYSSTAT' of database 'MALL' succeeded to rebind.
UniqueID = 5359534C564C3031

Package 'NULLID.TUPLEWRT' of database 'MALL' succeeded to
rebind. UniqueID = 3039303432390

Succeeded to rebind = 105

Failed to rebind = 1 (or more)
