DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC74795 Status: Closed

MOUNT RESOURCE MONITOR TIMEOUT CAN CAUSE OTHER MOUNT MONITORS TO GET
INCORRECT LVM INFORMATION

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
If a mount monitor times out, it can cause other mount monitors
to get incorrect information from lsvg potentially causing an
outage.
The surviving mount monitor may get incorrect output from lsvg
resulting in the monitor not recognizing a VG as being
concurrent. The monitor will act as though the VG is
non-concurrent, yet varied on, and may mount the file system it
is monitoring. If this happens on a standby node while the mount
resource is online on the primary, it can cause an outage as TSA
brings resources offline on the primary node.
