DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC75209 | Status: Closed |
db2icrt might issue error message DBI1327E if the installation directory is a substring of the instance home directory
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
DBI1327E error message indicates that the db2icrt command failed because the home directory of the instance owner is a subdirectory under the directory in which the DB2 product is installed. In some cases, however, this message is returned when the path name of DB2 installation directory is a substring of the instance owner home directory. For example, if the DB2 installation path is /usr/local/UDB/db2 and the DB2 instance home path is /usr/local/UDB/db2inst1, the DBI1327E error message will be returned at inopportune times.
