Problem: ====== Running db2iupdt changes the database manager parameter ALTERNATE_AUTH_ENC from AES_CMP (or AES_ONLY) to NOT_SPECIFIED. Recreation steps: - db2 update dbm cfg using ALTERNATE_AUTH_ENC AES_ONLY - db2stop - log in as root - switch to install directory - db2iupdt <instancename> - switch to instance user - db2start - db2 get dbm cfg | grep ALTERNATE_AUTH_ENC >> ALTERNATE_AUTH_ENC is set again to "NOT_SPECIFIED" | |
