DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC84212 | Status: Closed |
AUTOMATIC BACKUP IMAGES CANNOT BE PRUNED IF THE DATABASE WAS ACTIVATED WITH
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The automatic backup images cannot be pruned if the database was activated with the alias name. The backup image has the database name in its file name. When a database is activated with its alias name, the backup image will have the db alias in its name. As the PRUNE would use the real db name, these backups won't get pruned. We will fix this for automatic backups to make sure that these images get pruned automatically.
