POSSIBLE UTILHEAP MEMORY LEAK DURING AUTOMATIC STATISTICS COLLECTION FOR TABLES THAT HAVE A STATISTICS PROFILE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When the following conditions exist: - automatic statistics collection is enabled - a table has a statistics profile which does not include distribution statistics for any column in the table - automatic statistics collection collects statistics for the table a leak to utility heap might occur depending on how the statistics collection was performed. The factors that can influence whether the leak will occur are not deterministic. The -memblocks option of db2pd can be used to look for leaks. The leaked memory is released when the database is deactivated.
