Problem IC86391 | Status: Closed |
DATABASE DEACTIVATION HANGS WAITING FOR LAST SYSTEM APPLICATION TO TERMINATE
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
A database deactivation may hang in function "TermDbConnect" due to remote system applications not being interrupted and cleaned up. The symptoms would be a stack for the interrupting agent showing function TermDbConnect and sqleProcessSubRequest as this can happen if a subagent is processing the deactivation request. The db2diag.log may contain a message around the time of the deactivation showing : "FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, base sys utilities, sqeApplication::ExecuteInterrupt,probe:95 "
