In the windows install trace you will find an iDeleteArray ENTRY point at the end of the trace, hinting the installation was crashed during the execution of iDeleteArray. DB2 crashes in the iDeleteArray when trying to free up some non-NULL memory. | |

The fix/workaround in this case is to migrate manually by following either of the two below listed methods : (1) Backup all instances and databases, uninstall the existing DB2, install the new DB2 and then restore the DB2 instance config + databases (2) Install DB2 to a new location (use "Install New" option), and then upgrade (migrate) manually the instances + databases. | |
