DB2 - Problem description

Problem IT00385 Status: Closed

DROP DATABASE FAILS WITH: SQL0969N THERE IS NO MESSAGE TEXT CORRESPONDING
TO SQL ERROR -2029060079"

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problem description:
DROP DB may fail with the following message:
drop database ERR_DB2
SQL0969N There is no message text corresponding to SQL error
"-2029060079" in the message file on this workstation. The
error was returned from module "SQLEDRPA" with original tokens
"ERR_DB2".

While a legitimate error was encountered the SQLCODE is
incorrectly returned back. An example of what the actual
SQLCODE may be is as follows:
SQL1031N The database directory cannot be found on the
indicated file system.

But it may be something else.

This APAR is simply for the incorrect SQLCODE returned. An
actual problem did occur with the DROP DATABASE command and the
db2diag.log should investigated to determine the root cause of
it.
