After upgrading the DB2 Administration Server (DAS) to DB2 9.7 FP9, depending on the platform, the task center may return the following error when you try to execute a task ('Run Now' ) : SQL22282N The scheduler is unable to access the Tools Catalog database. Reason code = "5" and SQLCODE "-30082". or SQL22221 The scheduler is not active. Local Fix: | |
Depending on the platform, one of the following may help : 1 - drop and recreate the DAS 2 - db2 reset admin cfg Please note that on AIX, there is no workaround. | |

This is a limitation. This APAR fixed the error that is coming for scheduling tasks but due to security vulnerability, Customers are requested to use task center of v97fp10 or higher or v101fp5 or higher to schedule tasks. | |
