Problem IT33790 | Status: Closed |
DB2AUTOSTART DOES NOT WORK ON REBOOT WHEN OS REBOOT IS VERY FAST.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
The db2fmcd process records a timestamp regularly and checks the interval to detect OS reboot. If it detects the OS reboot, it starts instances configured as AUTOSTART. However, when OS reboot is very fast and the interval between the shutdown and the start of db2fmcd during the boot is less than 20 seconds, db2fmcd cannot detect the OS reboot and DB2AUTOSTART does not work.
