product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / B50 - DB2
Problem description: | |
It is possible when doing monitoring to hit a timing hole where unlatched access is allowed to a shared structure. The unlatched access may cause a trap in the sqlrwTableMetricsBuilder::execute function which is executed when a user queries the MON_GET_TABLE table function. The stack looks similar to the following: Stack #1 Signal #11 Timestamp 1605715442.692834000 0 ossDumpStackTraceInternal 1 ossDumpStackTraceV98 2 OSSTrapFile::dumpEx 3 sqlo_trce 4 sqloEDUCodeTrapHandler 5 __restore_rt 6 sqlrwTableMetricsBuilder::execute 7 sqlrwFilteredTableIterator::execute 8 sqlrwGetTableMetrics 9 sqlrwGetWLMTableFunctionResult 10 sqlrwGetWLMTableFunctionMergedResult 11 sqlerTrustedRtnCallbackRouter 12 monGetTable_v115m4fp0 13 sqloInvokeFnArgs 14 sqlriInvokeInvoker 15 sqlriutf 16 sqlri_tfopn 17 sqlriopn 18 sqlrita 19 sqlrievl 20 sqlriNljnNonPiped 21 sqlrihsjn 22 sqlrihsjn 23 sqlriSectInvoke 24 sqlrr_process_fetch_request 25 sqlrr_open 26 sqljs_ddm_opnqry 27 sqljsParseRdbAccessed 28 sqljsParse 29 sqljsSqlam 30 sqljsDrdaAsDriver 31 sqeAgent::RunEDU 32 sqzEDUObj::EDUDriver 33 sqloEDUEntry 34 start_thread 35 clone
