CONNECTION SLOWNESS/HANG DUE TO MORE LATCH WAIT AT GROUP AUTHENTICATION STEP.

New connections experience slowness or hang waiting on operating
system's group authentication.
Many EDU stacks will look like:
pthread_mutex_lock
sqloxltc_app
sqloGetGroupAttribById
secGetGroups
osplugin_get_groups
get_groups_external
getgroupsforuser
sqlexGetGroupsForUser
This APAR increases parallelism of group lookup calls made by
DB2. It may alleviate or provide relief for slow group lookup
caused by underlying authentication mechanism outside of DB2
such as operating system, LDAP server, etc... |
