Customer before 11.5.7 could encounter a false error when they
run Reorg Reclaim. Reorg reclaim was trying to execute an
internal SQL query and was interrupted during the compilation.
In most cases with interrupts, the response would be to rollback
the reclaim and allow it to retry at a later time. However,
because the interrupt occurred during this timing window, reorg
reclaim considered the interrupt as a severe error and threw an
error. Here, the RC - SQLNN_E_BADNEWS says that the query
compilation was interrupted.
This is a case where we are too harshly handling an interrupt
returned from the internal query executed by reclaim. This
problem should not have resulted from any issues with the table
or database.
