DB2READLOG PERFORMANCE PROBLEM DUE TO UNNECESSARY NETWORK TRANSFER BETWEEN CLIENT AND SERVER

| Problem description: |
The response time of db2ReadLog() api might be impacted due
to unnecessary transfer of data from the client application
calling db2ReadLog() to the Db2 server. The amount of this
wasteful transfer is the size of the output buffer to hold
the log records returned by db2ReadLog(), which is indicated
by iLogBufferSize field of the db2ReadLogStruct structure. |
