SQLEXEC THREAD CAN GET STUCK SPINNING INDEFINITELY IN PFSC_ADD_OR_UPD() WHILE IN CRITICAL SECTION AND BLOCK CHECKPOINTS

When the problem occurs, you will often see messages like the
