OPTIMIZER CHOOSES KEY-FIRST ACCESS PATH CAUSING SLOW QUERY RESPONSE

| Problem description: |
Originally the optimizer was choosing the proper explicit index
ix1_tab1 from table tab1:
(1) Index Name: informix.ix1_tab1
Index Keys: company parameter (Serial, fragments: ALL)
Lower Index Filter: (informix.tab1.parameter = 'xyz' AND
informix.tab1.company = '01' )
Sudenlly it started using the implicit primary key index,
choosing Key-First access path:
(1) Index Name: informix. 10440_94656
Index Keys: company notice_recv seq_notice_recv
parameter (Key-First) (Serial, fragments: ALL)
Lower Index Filter: informix.tab1.company = '01' |
