INFORMIX SERVER / 5725A3900 / E10 - 

If I issue a select statement using genBSON(), characters with
an accent are displayed incorrectly.

For example, I have a table and insert a single record:

create table t1(
c1 int,
c2 char(10));

insert into t1 values (215, 'Vía');

If I run the following select statement in dbaccess:

select genbson(t2)::JSON from t2 where c1 = 215;


I see this:

The data is returned as Vía.
