BUFFER POOL RESIZE DURING OPERATIONS ON MDC TABLE MAY CAUSE UNPREDICTABLE RESULTS
Produkt: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
If a lock escalation occurs during processing to find a free block, and the block map page moves to a new memory location due to a buffer pool resize operation at the same time, then the wrong address in memory may be referenced, resulting in unpredictable results, such as reusing an already-inuse block, rows inserted into the wrong block, or duplicate block IDs.
