SUPPORT 32-BIT APPLICATIONS ON WINDOWS 64-BIT DB2 WITHOUT RESTART DB2 MANAGEMENT SERVICE |

| Problembeschreibung: |
During the DB2 installation of 64-bit image on Windows, it
missed the configuration of 32-bit DB2 registry entries on
Windows.
This caused 32-bit applications to fail unless the machine is
rebooted or the "DB2 Management Service" is restarted.
If you run any fenced routines that uses 32 bit libraries in the
64 bit Windows platform, this install problem will cause
every such routine execution to return SQL1131 or SQL1042 error.
If a 64 bit fenced routine's library can't be loaded,
instead of SQL0444 error the SQL1131 error will be returned.
The SQL1131 error is returned because this install issue
caused a failure during the retry the a 32 bit db2fmp process. |
