DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC64047 Status: Geschlossen

USING CONTROL CENTER TO DO A REDIRECTED RESTORE MAY RESULT IN A SQL0902C IF
THE ORIGINAL DRIVE LOCATION DOES NOT EXIST.

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
When using the Control Center to restore a database from another
server, if the orignal database resided on a different drive,
then the restore will fail with a SQL0902C error.

For example:
Server A has Database SAMPLE defined on the D: drive.

Server B only has a C: drive

When trying to restore a backup from Server A onto Server B, the
restore fails with a SQL0902C.

The Control Center generates a backup statement with:

RESTORE DATABASE SAMPLE FROM "C:\DB2_01\Backup" TAKEN AT
20090218043023 TO "C:" INTO SAMPLE2 WITH 2 BUFFERS
BUFFER 1024 PARALLELISM 1 WITHOUT PROMPTING
