The top-level block of the query is a SELECT statement 3. The query or one of its nested sub-selects contains an IN list predicate 4. Including IN2JOIN_OFF in the value(s) specified for the DB2_EXTENDED_IN2JOIN registry variable, e.g., db2set DB2_EXTENDED_IN2JOIN=[<other-values>,]IN2JOIN_OFF[, <other-values>] Note that the instance will need to be recycled after applying this change and consequently the impact of this setting will be instance wide. 2.
