THE COMPRESSION PROPERTY FOR THE INDEX IS NOT CORRECTLY ASSIGNED WHEN DETACHING PARTITION |

When performing ALTER TABLE...DETACH PARTITION on a range
partition table with index(es), the COMPRESSION property for the
index(es) is not propagated properly to the new table (the
detached partition).
For example:
ALTER TABLE t2 DETACH PARTITION t2_1_1 into t2_1_1
SELECT tabname, compression FROM syscat.indexes WHERE tabname
like 'T2%'
TABNAME COMPRESSION
---------------------------- -----------
T2 N
T2_1_1 |

After the DETACH completes, run ALTER INDEX <index-name>
COMPRESS <yes/no> to correct the compression property of the
index. Then, initiate an index reorganization via the REORG
INDEXES ALL FOR TABLE <table-name> command on the newly detached
table. |
