The DB2 Design Advisor (db2advis) may terminate abnormally while reading the workload to evaluate from an input file. This can occur when the input workload is specified from a file, i.e., -[i|file] <input-file> command-line option is used. Additionally, one or more of the following should be true: a) <input-file> contains statement(s) that exceed the maximum length allowed for an SQL statement, i.e., 2097152 bytes, OR b.i) <input-file> contains statements that are terminated using anything other than the statement terminator specified with the -delim command-line option or the default statement terminator, i.e., ; (semicolon), when the -delim command-line option is not specified b.ii) The combined length of any incorrectly terminated statements exceeds the maximum length allowed for an SQL statement | |
