THE SQLOREAD FUNCTION DOESN'T HANDLE THE NULL BUFFER POINTER PROPERLY |

The sqloread function doesn't handle the NULL buffer pointer
properly, which may eventually crash the instance with the
signal 11.
When the crash occurs, you may see the stacks of the crashing
