Problem IC75642 Status: Geschlossen

NO OPTION/COMMAND FOR UPDATING DB2CLI.INI FROM FOR CLI CONFIGURATION
PARAMETERS STORED IN LDAP GLOBAL LEVEL

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
Currently user can run the UPDATE CLI CFG AT GLOBAL LEVEL
command to store various CLI/ODBC configuration parameters in
LDAP as described in
db2 UPDATE CLI CFG AT GLOBAL LEVEL FOR SECTION COMMON USING
ConnectTimeout 60
db2 UPDATE CLI CFG at global level FOR SECTION COMMON USING
QueryTimeoutInterval 7

But currentely these parameters though stored in LDAP at Global
level are not available in user level db2cli.ini file ( or any
db2cli.ini file) .

the new AT GLOBAL LEVEL option is added in Refresh ldap cli cfg
command to get
CLI configuration parameter settings which are stored in Global
level in LDAPto be available to user in db2cli.ini file

If this command is issued the global parameters stored in LDAP
will be available at user level cli ini file ( where the command
is run )

the other AT USER LEVEL option is added in Refresh ldap cli cfg
command to get
CLI configuration parameter settings which are stored in user
level in LDAP to be available to user in db2cli.ini file
