Problem IC77614 Status: Geschlossen

INSTALLFIXPACK -F NOBACKUP DOES NOT BYPASS BACKUP OPERATION

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
The DB2 installer will attempt to backup all DB2 files even if
-f nobackup is used for installFixPack.

If a file from the DB2 install path is deleted, the following
errors will be noticed while installing the fix
pack using installFixPack.

e.g. /opt/IBM/db2/V97/acs/DSDeviceErrors.txt is removed.

./installFixPack -f nobackup -b /opt/IBM/db2/V9.7
