DB2CHGPATH MAY NOT UPDATE THE LIBRARY PATH ON SOLARIS |

On Solaris, db2chgpath may not function properly if the original
directory does not exist.
e.g. After renaming the install path from V9.7 to V9.7new
# db2chgpath
# echo $?
1
The above command fails because we try to change into the
original directory(/opt/IBM/db2/V9.7), which no longer exists
and the script terminates.
After applying the fix, db2chgpath will not terminate when the
original directory no longer exists. |

There are two workarounds for this problem:
1) Ensure the original directory exists; or
2) Update the configuration file with the new install path: <old
db2 install path>/cfg/installcopy.cfg
Re-run db2chgpath.
