DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IC84132 Status: Geschlossen

WHEN INNER JOIN OPERATION IS REFERENCED OUTSIDE OF FROM CLAUSE, DB2 RETURNS
SQL0901N ERROR MESSAGE AND GENERATES DUMP FILES.

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
When INNER JOIN operation is referenced outside of FROM clause,
db2 returns SQL0901N error message and generates dump files. For
example:

   with
      test1 as ( select 1 as c1 from sysibm.sysdummy1 ) ,
      test1_recur ( c1 ) as (
        select c1 from test1
        union all
          (select c1+1 from test1_recur where c1 < 10 ) as c1
          inner join
          ( select 3 as c3 from sysibm.sysdummy1 ) as c3
          on 1=1 and c3.c3 = c1.c1 )
   select * from test1_recur;

This example query is not syntaticaly correct. The INNER JOIN
operation can only be referenced in the FROM clause of a
subselect.

When this query is executed, db2 returns SQL0901N error and
generates dump files. This APAR will return more graceful error
instead of the SQL0901N, which will not generate dump files.
