statement is greater than 1024 characters

Problembeschreibung:
This is a current limitation of function 
DBMS_UTILITY.EXEC_DDL_STATEMENT where the statement cannot be 
greater than 1024 characters. This APAR will remove this 
limitation. 
 
error message is : 
SQL0433N  Value "<ddl text>" is too long.

Problem was first fixed in DB2 Version 10.1 Fix Pack 1
Workaround
As a workaround for the current length restriction for 
DBMS_UTILITY 
instead of: 
CALL DBMS_UTILITY.EXEC_DDL_STATEMENT(?<ddl text>?); 
 
use: 
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE ?<ddl text>?;
