UDF with string result types could be blocked from being pushed
down
UDF could be blocked from being pushed down under following
conditions:
1. local db is in ora compatible mode (e.g. db2set registry
DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR set to ORA)
2. remote server's server option varchar2_compat is set to N
3. UDF has a result type of CHAR, VARCHAR, GRAPHIC, or
VARGRAPHIC, e.g. select myfunc.mytrim(varchar_col) from
nickname1 |
