DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2

Under rare scenarios, performance degradation might be noticed 
with queries that are using a SEQUENCE in the projection list of 
the SELECT, like: 
 
SELECT SEQUENCE1.NEXTVAL, COL1 ... 
FROM T ... 
 
The following conditions must be met to encounter this problem: 
 
1) The query contains a sequence in the projection of a 
subselect 
2) The subselect with the SEQUENCE references at least 1 base 
table and at least one subselect 
3) The lower subselect is marked as a distinct
