DB2 - Problembeschreibung

Problem IT04364 Status: Geschlossen

DB2 MIGHT ABEND WHEN EXECUTING QUERY CONTAINING A SUBSELECT WITH REDUNDANT
PREDICATES

Produkt:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A10 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
Under rare scenarios, DB2 might abend if the following
conditions are true:

1) The query contains one or more subqueries. The subquery can
be of the form EXISTS, NOT EXISTS, etc.
2) The subquery contains one or more correlated predicates
3) Atleast one of the correlated predicate in the subquery can
be proven to be redundant due to a check constraint, tautology
predicates, etc.
4) The subquery and the correlated column reference the same
view or common table expression.
