DS DRIVER: ODBC/CLI APPLICATIONS ON WINDOWS THROWS SQL1109N ERROR WHILE CONNECTING DATABASE SERVER OVER SSL.
Produkt: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / A50 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
ODBC/CLI applications on Windows throws SQL1109N error while connecting database server over SSL. The same issue is found when we try to connect to db using Excel or ODC file. The issue discovered when Excel tried to connect to DASHDB using default SSL Certificate. The connection fails because, CLI driver is trying to create default keydb to store SSL certificate, under "Program Files\IBM DATA SERVER DRIVER\cfg" folder and user do not have administrative privilege to create default keydb under this directory. The issue is with instance less clients only as instance based DB2 clients create such default keydb under ProgramData and not under Program Files. If user already has administrative privilege or write permission for <install_dir>\cfg folder, this issue does not occur.
