MEMORY LEAK IN DB2SYSC PRIVATE MEMORY WHEN AN EXTERNAL CONVERSION TABLE IS USED
Produkt: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / A50 - DB2
Problembeschreibung:
Description: The db2sysc private memory may be leaked when following conditions are met: - External conversion tables are used (*.cnv exists in sqllib/conv/ directory) - The database code page and the application code page are different - Trusted routines are used This memory leak cannot be observed by db2pd -dbptnmem or MON_GET_MEMORY_SET/POOL, but ps or other OS monitoring tools(e.g. svmon in AIX) report the increase of the private memory. The db2pd -memblock pid=db2sysc_pid will show the many blocks from OSSe LOC=239. For example: Memory blocks sorted by size: PoolID PoolName TotalSize(Bytes) TotalCount LOC File OSSe OSSe 167033120 3941 239 0 0 13222440 105 176 1235720678 0 5242880 40 8429 3922823597 0 919088 34 1449 428345763 ...
