DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC61864 Status: Closed

CLI0002W WARNING WHEN EXECUTING A CLI APPLICATION TO QUERY AN OD BC
NICKNAME WHO'S DATASOURCE IS USING A NON UNICODE CODEPAGE.

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
A CLI/ODBC application may receive a CLI0002W warning "Data
Truncated", when executing a query that uses a federated
nickname using an ODBC Wrapper.
.
The warning is unexpected and would occur if the federated
server's codepage is 1208 (ie, Unicode), and the Information
Integrator Classic Federation (IIFC) server's codepage is not
1208. For example, this would happen if the IIFC server is
using DataCom on z/OS who has a codepage of 850, not 1208.
