Problem description: | |
When DB2 is autostarted during system startup, it attempts to start the licensing service, which is not allowed by Microsoft Windows SDK. This results in a long wait while the attempt times out. | |

The workaround is to disable license checking with this command: db2licm -p <product ID> OFF and then reboot the system. e.g. "db2licm -p db2exp OFF" disables license checking for DB2 Express Edition | |
