DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC62264 Status: Closed

CLP MIGHT RETURN SQL0104N BECUASE TERMINATE CHARACTER REMAINS AT THE END OF
STATEMENT.

DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
DB2 command line processor (CLP) might return SQL0104N because 
terminate character is not eliminated by CLP befor sending SQL 
statement to server. 
The following steps illustrates one of scenario causing this 
problem: 
. 
1. Connect to a database 
. 
 $ db2 connect to sample 
. 
2. Run a query with -t option: 
. 
 $ db2 -tv " <hit enter key> 
 >values current user; <hit enter key> 
 >" <hit enter key> 
. 
 values current user; 
. 
 SQL0104N  An unexpected token ";" was found following " values 
current user". 
 Expected tokens may include:  "END-OF-STATEMENT". 
SQLSTATE=42601
