Problem IC62373 | Status: Closed |
ONLINE LOAD RESTART with XML columns can corrupt the table
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2
Problem description: | |
An Online (ALLOW READ ACCESS) Load RESTART of a previously failed Online Load which failed after the 'Load Phase', and contains XML columns, will corrupt the table. Offline (ALLOW NO ACCESS - default) Load RESTART is not susceptible to this problem because the indexes are marked bad (Online Load does not mark the indexes bad, thus newly load XML keys (regions, values) are not picked up, and the index is corrupt).
