DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC62388 | Status: Closed |
ISSUING THE PREP OR BIND COMMAND ON DB2 V9.5.3 AND DB2 V9.5.4 WITH THE BINDFILE OPTION CAN LEAD TO AUTHORIZATION ERRORS.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2
Problem description: | |
There is no package created in the database when the BINDFILE option is specified on the PREP or BIND commands. In DB2 Version 9.5 Fix Pack 3 and DB2 Version 9.5 Fix Pack 4 a user issuing those commands will receive an authorization error if they do not have the necessary privileges to create a package. However, because a package is not created, the correct behaviour is to let the statement succeed.
