DB2 - Problem description

Problem IC62488 Status: Closed

While running RUNSTATS, instance was suspended with SQL901N error and
reason: "The XML Value Index can't be found"

product:
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description:
When running RUNSTATS, db2 instance was suspended. The
information logged in db2diag.log indicated a SQL901N error with
reason" The XML Value Index can't be found". Further analysis
of db2diag.log indicated that the actual error was SQL973N: an
out of memory condition. db2 has incorrectly converted the
error into SQL901N, which is a non-severe error but misleading
the user.

This error can also happen during AUTO RUNSTATS.
