ON AIX THE TCP_NODELAYACK IS NOT BEING CORRECTLY SET IN THE SOCK ET LAYER

Problem description:
Starting in V95 of DB2, we decided to enable the TCP_NODELAYACK 
option at the socket layer instead of globally at the OS level 
for better performance of network operations between partitions 
when traffic is low.  This APAR is open to address the fact that 
this is not being set correctly.
Problem Summary:
Users Affected: Any using DPF feature across multiple machines 
 
Problem Description: TCP_NODELAYACK is not being set correctly 
at the socket layer which can results in inter-partition 
communication delays

Local Fix:
As a workaround you can enable TCP_NODELAYACK in the kernel by 
setting it to 1.

Solution
Problem was first fixed in Version 9.5 FixPak 6
Workaround
As a workaround you can enable TCP_NODELAYACK in the kernel by 
setting it to 1.
