"ERROR OCCURRED WHILE GETTING OBJECTS FROM THE DATABASE" WHEN DRAGGING AND DROPPING A DATASET COMPONENT IN VISUAL STUDIO
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When you attempt to drag and drop a DataSet component in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, a dialog box pops up with the error message, "Error occurred while getting objects from the database". If you click OK to dismiss the error dialog box, it will pop up again. This will occur approximately 3 times until the DataSet component is finally created properly. This only seems to occur if you are connected to the database as and user other than "informix". Connecting as user "informix" seems to alleviate the error message.
