Problem description:
You intermittently get error CLI0125E Function sequence error 
running an ADO.NET application that uses the 
Distributed Transaction Controller (DTC). 
The error is returned by SQLDisconnect or SQLFreeStmt 
when DTC is enlisted for a global XA transaction.

Solution
Problem was first fixed in Version 9.7 Fix Pack 1. 
At a minimum, this fix should be applied on the client.
