Problem IC63128 | Status: Closed |
SQL BODY MIGHT BE MISSING UNDER OPEN DEFINITION PANEL FOR A STOR ED PROCEDURE WHEN USING VISUAL STUDIO .NET ADD-INS
product: | |
DB2 CONNECT / DB2CONNCT / 970 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When using the Visual Studio .NET add-ins (VSAI) with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008, you may receive a compile error when trying to alter a stored procedure from within the "Open Definition" panel in VSAI. . The "Open Definition" panel should display an SQL Body that contains the stored procedure's SQL Body (everything from the first 'BEGIN' to the last 'END'). The problem is that sometimes the SQL Body might be missing. When you attempt to recreate the stored procedure using VSAI, the new stored procedure will be created without a body, and that could result in a compile time error.
