DB2 - Problem description
Problem IC63596 | Status: Closed |
DURING OFFLINE BACKUP MULTIPLE SESSIONS ARE REOPENED TO BACKUP THE SQLOGCTL.LFH FILE. THEY ARE UNUSED AND UNNECESSARY SESSIONS.
product: | |
DB2 FOR LUW / DB2FORLUW / 950 - DB2
Problem description: | |
When performing an OFFLINE backup multiple sessions are reopened (one for each session open during the first group of sessions) to backup the SQLOGCTL.LFH file. They are unused sessions and should not be opened. Ideally, DB2 can back up the SQLOGCTL.LFH as part of the first session and does not need the second group of sessions.
